There’s no shortage of Forest news in today’s Sunday papers, with the Reds’ being linked with every man and his dog. New manager Steve McClaren has certainly raised the profile of the club.

The Mail Online is reporting that Forest are after Dundee United striker David Goodwillie. The paper says we face competition from Rangers, Blackpool and Cardiff for the troublesome player and are set to make a £2m bid to secure his signature.

The same paper also claims that Forest will this week announce the signings of Irish international duo Keith Andrews and Andy Reid. According to the them, we’ll be parting with another £2m for Andrews at Blackburn, but we’ll be getting Reidy back for free from The Black Cats of Sunderland.

Saving the best for last, the Sunday People says we’re about to royally piss off Birmingham City’s new manager Chris Hughton on three counts. Firstly with news that Colin Calderwood will turn down the chance to reunite with his former manager at Newcastle, in favour of taking the number 2 role at the City Ground under McClaren. The paper also says that QPR striker Wayne Routledge will turn down a move to Brum and decide to sign for the Reds’ instead. However, news that goalkeeper coach Paul Barron will join us, has already been confirmed on the OS.
