Mr. C. H. Webster from Tyne and Wear gets the gig for the 1st round tie in the FA Cup at Sincil Bank.

Mr. Webster is not exactly a lucky talisman for the Reds. Fans will not want to be reminded of the FA Cup game against Weymouth in 2005, where we could only manage a 1-1 draw at home and needed a replay to beat the minnows. Worse than that though was the 1-0 away defeat to Accrington Stanley last year. There is a little good news though. He did officiate the 3-1 home win against Millwall last season.

Last season he took charge of 33 games and dished out the yellow card on 90 occasions. He gave 7 players their marching orders. So far this campaign he has had 12 games, dished out 29 yellows and 0 red.

He will be ably assisted on the line by Mr. C. J. Francis and Mr. G. R. Young. The 4th official is Mr. W. E. Grunnill.
