Mr. Geoff Eltringham from sunny Sunderland gets the gig for the nPower Championship match at the KC Stadium today, between Hull City and Nottingham Forest.

The last time Mr. Eltringham had the pleasure of refereeing a game involving the Reds’, was the FA Cup tie at the City Ground in January against Leicester City. The game needed a replay, after finishing 0-0 and two players found their way into the book, both from Leicester.

So far this season, Mr. Eltringham has taken charge of 37 games, in which he’s dished out 90 yellow cards and 5 red.

He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. Adrian Holmes and Mr. Tony Peart. The fourth official will be Mr. Alf Greenwood.
