Premier League referee Mr. Michael Jones from sunny Chester, gets the gig for the game at the City Ground tonight, between Forest and Donny.

You have to go all the way back to the 2008/9 season to find the last time Mr. Jones had the pleasure of refereeing a game involving the Reds’. It was a Monday night in April at a packed Bramall Lane, where despite being down to 10 men for the majority of the game, the Reds’ held out for a hard fought 0-0 draw. Mr. Jones controversially sent off Kelvin Wilson after only 15 minutes, for an innocuous challenge on United’s Greg Halford.

So far this campaign, he’s taken charge of 23 games, in which he’s dished out 91 yellow cards and 8 red.

He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. Stuart Burt and Mr. David Bryan. The fourth official will be Mr. Trevor Kettle.
