The match officials for todays’ game at the City Ground against Bristol City have been announced.

Forest fans will not want reminding of the last time Mr. Anthony Taylor from sunny Cheshire, refereed a game involving the Reds’. The last time, was back in 2008, New Years Day, against Huddersfield. Taylor inexplicably sent off Kelvin Wilson after only 36 mins. It was supposedly for a professional foul, but the decision stunned the home crowd and resulted in Taylor being booed off at half time. Although Forest went on to claim a dramatic 2-1 win, it was with no thanks to Mr. Taylor that we did.

So far this season, Mr. Taylor has officiated in 14 games, that has seen him dish out 28 yellow cards and 2 red. In 36 games last year, he dished out 105 yellow and 10 red. Should be an interesting afternoon.

He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. S. Ihringova and Mrs. A. E. Raynor. The 4th official will be Mr. J. G. Adcock.
