It’s a Premiership referee once again for the Reds. This time it’s Mr. Mike Riley from West Yorkshire who gets the gig at Brunton Park for the encounter with Carlisle.

You have to go all the way back to 2004 to find the last time he took charge of a Forest game. It was the 4-2 League Cup defeat at Fulham on a day when he booked 6 players.

Mr. Riley has been involved in quite a few controversial incidents in his time and has just been dropped for one Premiership game due to inadequacies in his performances. Check out this Wikipedia link for some of them.

In 34 games this season he’s dished out a staggering 112 yellow cards and 6 red. He loves the paper work does our Mikey.

He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. A. Butler and Mr. J. Simpson. The 4th official will be Mr. M. Oliver.
