Mr. Graham Salisbury from Lancashire gets the job of maintaining order in the Carling Cup tie at the City Ground on Tuesday night. Mr. Salisbury last took charge of a Forest game at the back end of last season, when the Reds entertained Bournemouth in a game that saw us confirm our place in the playoffs with a 3-0 win. The Cherries Neil Young was sent off that day for a poor challenge on Jack Lester.
So far this season he’s taken charge of 7 games and dished out 19 yellow cards and 1 red. Last year he officiated in 33 games, that saw him hand out 78 yellow cards and 7 red. Clearly likes the paper work, our Mr. Salisbury.
His assistants will be linesmen, Mr. S. Castle and Mr. A.R. Hendley. The 4th official is Mr. G. Mellor.
