Who doesn’t love a trip down memory lane?
Especially when the trip is regarding such a great event in the club’s history?
Today marks the anniversary of just such a day, as it is the 40th anniversary of the day that we won the European Cup (Champions League for you younger readers), for the second time as we beat German side Hamburger SV in the Bernabeu.
John Robertson scored the winning goal on the day as we sealed back to back European cups having beaten Malmo FF the year previously.
Which European Cup win did you enjoy the most?

The club has since gone about dedicating the entire day to the club’s exploits on their social media outlets, and it’s provided fans with a great chance to reminisce about that famous team and talk about their favourite memories of not just the game, but the celebrations after and just what that famous side meant to them.
Champions of Europe…
We'll always sing that 🎶🎶#NFFC ⭐⭐
