Forest’s final pre-season friendly ended in defeat at Swindon on Saturday afternoon as they went down 3-2 at The County Ground.
Thomas Dossevi (3), a Togo international on trial with Swindon, gave the home side an early lead but a couple of quick goals from Garath McCleary (21 & 25) saw Forest turn the game around and take a 2-1 lead.
This lead did not last though and Swindon were soon level as Dossevi (30) scored his second goal of the game.
With players on both sides chasing hat-tricks neither could manage this with Forest’s in demand defender Kelvin Wilson (67) scoring the winner midway through the second half – unfortunately his goal, which was sliced into his own net, was an own goal to had the league one side the win.
