Some Nottingham Forest fans have been looking back on Tyler Walker’s first goal for the club during our 2-2 draw against Brentford in 2015.
The hosts were chasing promotion that campaign and we managed to delay their push towards the Premier League, as the then 18-year-old scored the first goal in his Forest career since his professional debut during our 2-0 win against Rotherham United the season before.
Walker gave us the lead just after the hour mark in the second half and Todd Kane doubled our advantage with 13 minutes to play as we looked to be on our way to victory. However, Andre Gray and Jota scored inside the last 10 minutes that forced us to settle for a point.
Walker has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 44 appearances for us with his contract set to expire next summer.
With this in mind, supporters reflected on Walker’s goal and the day as a whole and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan described the goal as “superb”, while another enjoyed the away day down in West London.
Nice 👌👌
