The fallout for some Nottingham Forest players may be greater than they imagined following our embarrassing defeat to Burton Albion in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.
Losing 3-2 at the Pirelli Stadium with manager Aitor Karanka seeing few players reward him as he made changes to the starting XI, plenty of fans have already had their say about him, let alone given their thoughts about the performances on show.
Only last week, on-loan Porto player Saidy Janko saw himself being linked with a potential move to Wolverhampton Wanderers as well as other Premier League clubs, but Wolves stood out given the apparent link with to Jorge Mendes.
He wasn’t the only one to be off colour in the midweek game, but if he’d impressed others prior to that tie, if we don’t do a permanent deal for him, he’ll be hoping other clubs don’t listen to the following Forest fans as he took a bit of a hammering.
He made Darikwa look world class tonight. As for Hefele & Dawson I hope Fox isn’t out for long.
