With the November international break now thankfully behind us, Nottingham Forest made the trip to Hull City’s KCOM Stadium as we got back to Championship action.
Forest dominated the opening 45 minutes on the day but chances were hard to come by, but in the second half our dominance began to pay off as Lewis Grabban took advantage just after the hour mark to make it ten goals in eleven appearances for him on a personal level, and Joe Lolley’s importance to us was once again proved as he struck three minutes later to double our advantage and effectively put the game at an end.
2-0 was how it finished and a spot in those play-off places remains well within reach.
Hull only managed one effort on target across the entire 90 so the win was justified and pretty comfortable but had David Marshall not been in such top form and had we have been a little more clinical, the scoreline would definitely have been more emphatic.
