Former Forest Legend, Stan Collymore, returns to Nottingham’s Southbank Bar on Thursday 22nd March – with some of the proceeds assisting a local u18’s side, West Bridgford Colts.

The 47 year old former reds striker is no shrinking violet when it comes to voicing his opinions, whether they are football related or not. For anyone that had the pleasure of seeing Stan play then, in my opinion, he is truly one of the best strikers to wear the Garibaldi but he is another that should have achieved so much more, despite battling his own ‘inner demons’ and depression.

You do not have to be a Forest fan to attend, as these entertaining evenings are open to all with ‘Villa fan’ Stan sharing his own stories on life as a footballer, at Forest, Villa, Liverpool and Leicester and subsequently as a pundit.

As mentioned all are welcome because some of the proceeds from the evening will help a local side, West Bridgford Colts FC, in their quest to continue their successes of last season, the Under 16 League and Cup double winners, as they will play in The World Youth Cup Championships at ‘The Gothia Cup’ in Gothenburg, Sweden in July 2018!

Ordinarily, Vital Forest would avoid publicising such events but with a local side representing Nottingham at such a prestigious tournament, coupled with Stan’s own backing – why not treat your better half for Mother’s day with a meal and an evening’s entertainment!?
