Emile Sinclair has been recalled from his loan spell at Conference side Mansfield Town and according to the Stags official site, it’s as so he can be assessed by the new boss Billy Davies.

Sinclair joins keeper Paddy Gamble, as the second player to have a loan spell cancelled by Davies. It looks as so Billy Boy is assembling everyone in an effort to see who can actually cut it. If that’s the case, it’s a wise move and one that should be applauded. We only need players that are going to serve the club, not just make up the numbers.

Whether Sinclair can do enough to persuade Davies that he has a future remains to be seen, but he certainly impressed at Field Mill. He scored 5 goals in 18 appearances for the Stags.
