It’s only a week since new manager Billy Davies recalled all players out on loan to assess his squad, but today 21 year old Emile Sinclair was allowed to sign for Macclesfield Town in a one month loan deal.

It probably means that Davies has seen enough of the slightly built frontman to realise he isn’t going to make it at Championship level. This will be his second spell out on loan this season, having spent time at Field Mill with the Stags before being recalled. It’s probably a surprise that he didn’t rejoin them, following a successful period in which he netted 4 goals in 10 appearances.

Manager of the Silkmen Keith Alexander told the official Town site. ‘Whilst Emile is learning his trade he has bags of potential. We saw at close quarters what he is capable of when he played against the reserves earlier this season. He also has great pace, which is a great asset at any level.’

If it is the end of his time at Forest, we wish him well. He will definitely do a job at League 2 level and will be an asset to the Silkmen. Good luck Emile.
