Could he have made a better start than this?
Well of course he could if he’d have beaten West Brom on the opening day, and perhaps got a little bit more fortunate in not drawing Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, but there’s only so much he can do.
It’s fair to say that Sabri Lamouchi has got off to a fantastic start as Nottingham Forest boss. Having replaced Martin O’Neill in the summer, he has really taken the league by storm, with a current unbeaten run of ten matches and Forest heading into the international break second in the table.
So when the Frenchman was put in front of the media in the aftermath of Forest’s latest result, a 1-0 victory over Brentford there were plenty of Nottingham Forest fans who were more than happy to shower him with praise.
wow what a manager so honest and keeps us rooted not getting too excited

Top man. Getting the best out of players – just like a previous incumbent in the job.

Whilst it’s no question that Brian Clough is Forest’s greatest ever manager and his work will never be topped, I must say that if Lamouchi carries on this upward trend he’s been going on, who’s to say that he can’t go down as the second greatest boss at The City Ground?
