Leaving so soon?
Having only started three times last season, he never really got the chance to show his worth. Towards the latter part of the season though, against Middlesbrough and QPR he finally started some games and managed to get a goal and an assist in them. Perhaps he’s just one of the victims of the new regime change under Sabri Lamouchi.
Maybe that’s why these Forest fans were a little bit upset over the news. He’s clearly shown an ability to find the net, even in his limited appearances. Could he have gotten a better goal return if he’d been given a consistent run in the first team?
Judging by their reactions, they didn’t seem too happy about the news. I suppose they were hoping that it was going to be Daryl Murphy that was announced as leaving, rather than Ansarifard. With the squad now looking somewhat thin in the forward department, some fans even used the opportunity to pressure the club into making some signings, with one former Derby man’s name in particular getting some mentions.
That’s actually shocked me, especially before getting a new striker in, he’s another we didn’t really get to see what he could do with a good run in the team, hopefully we’ve got something pretty good lined up ????

Got to go out and get someone like vydra. Grabban wrong side of 30 and prone to an injury. #nffc

Vydra please then as that will prevent him scoring against us wherever he goes otherwise or we forgive Dwight Gayle if we got him both available if you believe what you read either be great addition
