Nottingham Forest welcome former boss Paul Hart back to the City Ground on Tuesday night, when his relegation threatened Crystal Palace side come to town.
Palace are currently in administration and have just dropped into the relegation zone after their points deduction and weekend draw away at Blackpool. The Eagles let a 2 goal halftime lead slip away at Bloomfield Road on Saturday and slipped into the bottom 3 for the first time this season. Although they should have enough quality in the side to avoid the drop, these are worrying times for Palace fans.
Salvation could be on the way for the London club though, with news that US rapper P. Diddy is interested in buying the club. Depending on who you believe, he has a personal fortune of over £300m, or he’s skint. Whatever the outcome of this one, I wouldn’t expect to see the appearance of the notorious of Mr. Diddy on the banks of the Trent anytime soon.
Forest fans will be able to get a close up view of January target Darren Ambrose. The free scoring midfielder has bagged 13 goals for the Eagles so far this campaign and will have to be watched.

There’s no news yet on the ankle problem picked up by James Perch at the weekend, but Forest will definitely be without captain McKenna and Joel Lynch. Julian Bennett continues his recovery from a knee injury, but it’s thought he still needs a few more friendlies under his belt before he comes into contention.

The diminutive Pole was showing signs of getting back to his inspiring best at the weekend, in the 1-0 win over the Posh. He’s been the find of the season in the Championship and has quickly won the hearts of the City Ground faithful.
