Alan Rogers has finally left Nottingham Forest.

The former Leicester man has allegedly been one of the trouble makers at Nottingham Forest and presumably fans and team mates will be happy to see the back of him. In a league where teamwork and work ethic are particularly important, Forest cannot afford to be picking someone who could be detrimental to the team.

Rogers had been on loan at Hull last season, and had made a good impression with ex manager Peter Taylor and the Hull fans, but with Taylor’s departure to Crystal Palace, Rogers’ transfer was in jeopardy.

Possibly the final nail in the coffin regarding Rogers’ transfer was the movement of former Forest caretaker manager Frank Barlow to Hull.

It was Rogers’ second spell at Forest and having originally been a hit with the supporters, but was frozen out under Gary Megson in his second spell.
