Nottingham Forest find themselves facing several injury concerns going into their game with Barnsley on Sunday afternoon, after it was revealed by manager Sabri Lamouchi that Samba Sow, Joe Lolley and Matty Cash all doubts for the game.
Victory for Forest at Oakwell would guarantee them a place in this season’s Championship play-offs, and with it a shot at promotion, although the absence of that particular trio could be a big miss for Lamouchi’s side.
Both Cash and Lolley have failed to start either of Forest’s last two games – drawing with Preston and Swansea – with Lolley struggling to make an impact when he did come off the bench against the Swans.
Sow meanwhile, has started each of Forest’s last four games, although absences have been an issue for the midfielder this season, with the Mali international featuring in just 23 of Forest’s 44 league games across the course of the campaign so far.
Is Samba Sow's appearance record a concern for Forest?YesNo |
Indeed, it was those concerns around Sow’s inconsistent availability this season, that dominated the agenda amongst Forest fans as they took to Twitter to react to this latest update.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.

Brilliant player for us but totally agree, obviously the reason why he has not played at a higher level.
