Forest welcome third placed Carlisle United to the City Ground in League 1’s top of the table clash, also being shown live on Sky TV. The game is all set for a sellout and fans will hope to see the Sky TV curse banished once and for all with a win.
Carlisle are having a similar season to us so far, with an impressive home record and an appalling one away. Like us they got an elusive away win last time out, to end a barren run on the road. Both teams slipped down the table after the weekend matches, but a win for either side will see them move into second place.
Scott Dobie who signed for the Cumbrians in January is not eligible to play, thanks to a clause in his contract and with top scorer Joe Garner definitely out, the visitors will be weakened up front.
Colin Calderwood will do much to restore the faith of the fans with convincing display on Monday night, but he has to be a bit more adventurous and attack minded for that to happen. In the recent game with League leaders Swansea at home, he went for the safety first option and scraped a draw. Similar tactics against Carlisle will only result in the same again at best.

He’s looked a little jaded since his return from the ACON, but the week off will hopefully have recharged his batteries. He’s our top scorer with 11 goals so far and in the absence of Tyson, he’s our main goal threat.
