“Pointless”, “waste of time”- These Forest fans debate the short-lived career of former forward

|

It wasn’t the best of times, it was the worst of times.

That’s probably the best way to sum up the short-lived career of one of Nottingham Forest’s signings this season. He didn’t make many appearances, and he certainly didn’t do much to impress us in the short time that he was here, failing to find the back of the net during his short time here.

I’m talking of course about Rafa Mir. Whilst Sabri Lamouchi has done an incredible job this season with the team, the loan signing from Wolves certainly was certainly a disaster for the Frenchman.

If you could sum up the forward’s time here with one example, it’d be the game against Millwall where he played 62 minutes only to be replaced by Lewis Grabban and for him to score twice, one of them with his first touch of the game.

Was Rafa Mir our worst signing of the season?

Yes

No

No

So when @CityGroundHQ posed the question on Twitter on how they would describe his time at the club, they weren’t exactly very complimentary towards him.

What about you? What did you make of Mir’s time at the City Ground?
