Forest travel to Home Park this Sunday, for the televised lunchtime game against bottom of the table Plymouth Argyle.

Although the Reds’ are unbeaten on their travels so far this campaign, they are still in search of their first away win. The form guide suggests that this is the game where it will come, with the Pilgrims having lost their last 6 on the bounce. But, our record on Sky TV, ensures nothing should be taken for granted.

Pressure is mounting on Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock to turn things round, but the early signs of this campaign, says they’re in for another season of struggle. Billy Davies on the other hand, will be confident that although results may not have gone his way so far, the team does look to be playing well enough and is better that it’s 19th placing suggests.

Vital Quotes:

Plymouth Argyle Team News:

The home side could be without midfielder Shane Lowry. The 20 year old on loan from Villa damaged an ankle in last weeks 3-1 defeat to Newcastle.

Player to watch: Carl Fletcher

Fletcher spent part of last season on loan at the City Ground. The midfielder had his loan spell cut short through injury, and although opinion on him was mixed, I thought he impressed in his short spell here.

Nottingham Forest Team News:

Billy will make changes, of that you can be sure. He has a decision to make at the back, in whether to go for Wilson or Chambers. Both are fit and vieing for the place. Camp will probably resume the number 1 spot, after Smith replaced him in the midweek Carling Cup defeat to Blackburn. Young Maj may have to miss out once again, as the OS reports that he has yet to fully recover from a knee injury.

Player to watch: Paul Anderson

Hopefully he plays from the start. Hopefully he plays on the wing. Hopefully he continues the form that has shown, he is as good as he was with Swansea.

Match Facts & Stats

The 2 sides have met a total of 42 times in the League. Forest have won 18, lost 18 and drawn 6. Last season, we won 2-0 at home and lost 1-0 away.

Match Prediction:

Even though it’s on the tellybox…..3-1 to the Reds’!
