With Nottingham Forest closing in on those Play-Off spots ahead of the November international break, the lull in proper football didn’t affect our focus as on Saturday we took a 2-0 victory over Hull City.

Heading to the KCOM Stadium for the game that was rather bizarrely played out in front of only 3,364 (the capacity is 25586 from a quick search), we secured the win on the day with goals for Lewis Grabban and Loe Lolley.

Grabban made it ten goals in 18 appearances in the 2018/19 campaign, and Lolley lifted himself on to six from 22 matches.

For the 26-year-old former non-league player, it made it five goals for the league season and I believe that is already a season-best for him and he looks far from finished in front of goal.

It’s no surprise given his performance that Lolley took Whoscored star man rating, picking up a score of 8.20 for his efforts on the day.

Youngster Matty Cash (7.90) took second place and there are a number of fans who will be pleased to see Claudio Yacob impress again with 7.83.

The top five were completed by Jack Colback (7.74) and Grabban (7.74)

As a testament to the performance, Jack Robinson, Michael Dawson, Joao Carvalho and Toby Figueiredo also all received 7+ scores.

Onto the next one!
