Nottingham Forest are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected following the clash with Burton Albion.

The performance by goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon in the scoreless draw with Burton Albion at the weekend at the Pirelli Stadium was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Pantilimon was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Forest had to play with 10 men for more than an hour of their weekend clash with Burton Albion, but the Brewers couldn`t find a way past Pantilimon, who was unbeatable as the visitors claimed a point.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Pantilimon for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the point.

Full Team:

Costel Pantilimon (Nottingham Forest), Matt Targett (Fulham), Sean Morrison (Cardiff City), Sonny Bradley (Plymouth Argyle), Tom Anderson (Doncaster Rovers), Jason Demetriou (Southend United), Ben Kennedy (Stevenage), Richie Towell (Rotherham United), Ahmed Kashi (Charlton Athletic), Marc Richards (Swindon Town), Adebayo Akinfenwa (Wycombe Wanderers).

Manager – Joe Dunne (Cambridge United).
