West Bromwich Albion have been linked with a move for Joe Lolley, with sporting director Luke Dowling keen to poach the Nottingham Forest winger from his old club. Lolley has been in fine form this season, scoring and creating 13 goals in 24 Championship games, but Forest’s failing promotion bid could see him seek a move to greener pastures.
The 26-year-old has made a total of 49 appearances in all competitions since joining Forest from Huddersfield Town in January 2018, but a switch could be on the cards. The Reds are currently 12th in the Championship with 39 points from 28 games and have picked up just one win in their last eight outings.
Lolley has struggled recently too, failing to score in his last nine appearances for Forest and making just one assist since November. Despite his poor form, West Brom are still keen to bring him to the Hawthorns and they may be a more attractive proposition given their league position.
The Baggies are currently fourth in the table and could go three points adrift of the automatic promotion places if they beat Bolton Wanderers on Monday evening. Forest face a major battle to keep Lolley at the City Ground.
