It’s not a win, but at least we’re moving in the right direction.
Having started the season on a disappointing note with the defeat against West Brom, Sabri Lamouchi’s men managed to grind out a draw against Leeds United at Elland Road despite being under the cosh for most of the game.
So what was the general consensus amongst the Forest fans with the result?
Well, it looks as if the majority of the fans are in the ‘glass half full’ camp, and why shouldn’t they? Taking a point against a team that did so well last season isn’t something to be sniffed at.

Very good result, played for the draw and got a draw. Two very hard games done, now the season can start for us and we can now actually start playing our football. COYR!

Excellent point considering how woefully poor the level of football was from us.

Credit to Leeds we didn’t deserve anything but redemption for last season I think. Great point!

I’ll take that point with glee.

And it looks as if the manager is on their side. Speaking after the game, Lamouchi was quoted as saying:
“To take a point away from here against the best team in the league is a good result. However, I was more satisfied with our performance last weekend than I was today but the team deserve huge credit for their mentality because they fought back into the game really well”
Although, it is slightly weird to say he was more satisfied with the performance in a defeat than he was with a draw, but so long as he’s happy, so am I.
