Nottingham Forest – Not For Sale

Forest CEO Mark Arthur has moved to quash rumours that the club is up for sale, following speculation of the now infamous and seemingly ficticious Middle East Consortium, as well as supposed interest from former Bolton and Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce.

Arthur spoke to BBC Radio Nottingham and said. ‘There’s absolutely no truth in it whatsoever. I can categorically state that the club is not up for sale.’

He went on to say that Chairman Nigel Doughty was committed to Forest and would continue with his investment. ‘It’s not just (chairman) Nigel Doughty’s financial commitment to the club (that’s important), but it’s his club. It has been since the age of six. He’s a genuine supporter, and a local man, and he intends to stay with the club.’
