With the news that Joe Worrall could be loaned out to Rangers before the window closes next week, fans have been debating whether Aitor Karanka would be making the right call.
The manager has already stated in recent weeks that Joe needs game time with a loan away from the City Ground looking likely.
However, reacting to the latest reports, supporters on Twitter are not convinced our no.42 should be so far down the pecking order:
Have to say, I don’t want brereton or worrall to go out on loan. They are good enough now and offer us something for the team #nffc, I see nothing special in their positions to stop them playing regular for us. Disappointed if they go personally.

prefer Worrall was here and playing. But it it looks like Karanka doesn’t fancy him. But if he has to go on loan Rangers would be a good move and I reckon the fans would love him. It’s a shame though. #NFFC

I’m still not convinced that loaning out Joe Worrall is a particularly bright idea.

Some think he hasn’t done enough to earn a first-team place:
Not good enough at the moment #NFFC

At the moment he s not quite there so a season of competitive football will do him good

He has to go out on loan, he’s not good enough for the first team yet. This will definately help him.

Worrall to #avfc on loan and Adomah to #nffc would work fine for me ????

I understand what Karanka is thinking when he says we need experience to get out of this league. With Dawson (34) and Hefele (27) coming in we have brought in know-how and players who have been there and done it.
Yet, I can’t help thinking that these additions have blocked the path of a promising player like Worrall. Perhaps, as the manager says, a move away on loan will help him improve his game.
Do you think a switch to Rangers would be the best move for the 21-year-old? Let me know in the poll:
