Nottingham Forest’s teenage midfielder Felix Bastians has been told his ankle injury is not as bad as first feared.
The 17-year-old limped out of the 1-1 draw with Walsall on Saturday, but X-rays showed there was no break.
He will have further scans on Wednesday to reveal the extent of the problem, which has kept him out of training.
