The 2nd round tie was called off last night due to City player Clive Clarke having a heart attack during the half time interval.

Both clubs have been involved in talks today with the Football League to agree a new date for the game. Tuesday, September 18 at 7.45pm is the rearranged date.

Mark Arthur has urged fans to keep hold of their ticket stubs. He also told the official site. ‘I would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by last night’s unfortunate events, but the well being of Clive and his team mates had to come first.’ Arthur also said that hundreds of goodwill messages had been sent to the player from supporters and wanted to thank them. Clive is said to be stable in hospital and recovering well.

Forest were leading 1-0 in the tie before the game was called off, but they will have it all to do again on September 18.
