Wes Morgan has today joined neighbours Leicester City, for what the club describe as ‘an undisclosed fee,’ or for what most fans believe to be around £1m.

Morgan was the longest serving memeber of the current squad and made his debut under former manager Paul Hart back in 2003. He made over 400 appearances for the Reds’ in his time here (some of them good) and was a crowd favourite with many fans (but not me if I’m honest).

He was an honest player, I’ll give him that and he did always give 100%. What he lacked in ability, he more than made up for in effort. All the best Wes.
