Forest enter the Lions Den on Saturday knowing that anything less than three points will seriously damage any hopes they harbour of an automatic promotion place.

It seems like only a few weeks ago that Millwall were in a relegation battle, but a good run of results, sees them flirting with the playoffs themselves. In the last five games their form has been somewhat indifferent, having won 2, lost 2 and drawn 1. The Reds are unbeaten in four with 2 wins and 2 draws.

Forest will have to be on their guard against The Lions as they are more than capable of ruining a good day out, just ask Swansea, Blackpool, Yeovil and Oldham.

You can also throw into the mix the Neil Harris factor. Harris joined The Reds in 2004 and played 39 games. In all that time he scored once. Since joining The Lions he has played 15 games and scored no less than 5 goals for them. Not brilliant by any stretch of the imagination, but still a much better return than when he was with us. He can play on Saturday, as he left on a Free and as such Forest were unable to install any clause in his contract to stop him from playing. If you’re passing a Ladbrokes, it may be a good idea to stick a fiver on old Chopper.

Vital Quotes:

Millwall Team News:

Millwall were hit with a massive blow at the weekend with the news that leading marksman Darren Byfield will be out for the season with an ankle injury. They have been further hampered with an injury to another influential front man Ben May. Tom Brighton would have been an able replacement but he too is injured. All this has led manager Willie Donachie to recall Marvin Williams from his loan spell at Torquay.

Player to watch: Neil Harris

Chopper could not hit a barn door whilst at The City Ground, even if it had Sat Nav on it. But there is no doubting he will give 100% for The Lions cause.

Nottingham Forest Team News:

Forest have concerns over midfielder Lewis McGugan, who sustained a dead leg in the Bristol game. Other than the long term injuries to Clingan, Agogo and Dobie, manager Calderwood will have a full squad to select from.

Player to watch: Nathan Tyson

Tyson may be recalled to the starting line up for this clash. Although he has failed to find any consistency this season, he needs a run in the side and is capable of frightening the opposition with his pace.

Match Facts & Stats

The two sides have met a total of 45 times in the League. Forest have won 15, lost 16 and drawn 14.

Match Prediction:

I will be hoping for a 2-1 win to The Reds.
