Brighton manager Mark McGhee sees Saturday’s trip to Nottingham Forest as an early promotion test.

McGhee has no intention of changing the Seagulls’ attacking style of play, which has earned them two wins and a draw so far, when they line up against the League One promotion favourites.

‘We’re still waiting to see if we’re promotion material but we know Forest feel they are so it’s a measure for us, and obviously a win would give us a lot of confidence,’ said McGhee.

‘We’re happy with the way we’re playing both attacking-wise and defensively, we play the way we play so there’s no need for us to change.’

McGhee also confirmed wantaway striker Colin Kazim-Richards will play no part at the City Ground despite having his recent transfer request turned down.
