McGugan hasn’t played so far this campaign after damaging his ankle in pre season. The midfielder was a revelation when he broke into the first team last year after Sammy Clingan was sidelined. But after what seems like an eternity, the player has been declared fit and is named in the squad to face Yeovil at Huish Park tomorrow.

The squad is now nearing full strength, with Cohen, Tyson and Breckin all back. The only bad news is regarding Matt Lockwood, who was fit after damaging his ankle, but suffered a recurrence 5 mins from the end of Tuesday’s reserve game at the City Ground. The coming weeks are going to give Calderwood something of a selection problem, but I don’t suppose he’ll mind that.

Luke Chambers who was thought to be unavailable for Saturday’s game after picking up a knock on his knee last week, may just make the game. The official site says he trained today for the first time this week and will have a fitness test before the game.
