Out of favour Forest striker David McGoldrick has made a deadline day loan move to League 1 club Coventry City.

According to the NFFC official site, the loan move is until January 2. This will be the second time that McGoldrick has been sent out on loan, after having a spell with Sheffield Wednesday last year.

McGoldrick is a local lad and joined the Reds’ in 2009 from Southampton for a fee of around a million pounds. It’s not unkind to say that he has struggled to hold down a first team place during his spell at his hometown club. Good luck Mr. McG. I hope you bang ’em in for the Sky Blues!
