Lynch Pins Hopes On Saints Return

Nottingham Forest on loan defender Joel Lynch, hopes to resume training this week and regain his place in the side.

Lynch suffered a calf strain in the 0-0 draw with Blackpool, but hopes to be fit enough for the crunch game at St. Mary’s on Saturday, according to the official site.

It’s my opinion that he should take his time though, as you can’t be too careful with these things. Since his arrival on loan back in September, his form has fluctuated between downright diabolical, to barely passable.

I was one of the thousands cheering on Saturday as Julian Bennett made his return, except that my cheers were for the fact that Lynch was leaving the pitch.
