Well, at least that undefeated streak is still intact.

And Albert Adomah broke his duck for the club, so it’s not all bad.

Having come into the league off a decent run of form, with two wins out of three in all competitions, the last one being an absolute annihilation of Birmingham City, Lamouchi’s men were in high spirits as they took on one of the league’s early surprise packages in Charlton Athletic.

The home side came firing out of the blocks and had the majority of the early chances.

Then eventually they broke through the Forest defence and took the lead through Lyle Taylor’s fourth league goal in as many games.

After that, the game became a rather scrappy affair, with both sides seeing players booked for some rough challenges and other spates of ill-discipline.

With time winding down however, up popped Albert Adomah from off the bench to set up a frantic last ten minutes.

Whilst there was just enough time for Forest to carve out one more opportunity through Tiago Silva, the game ended one goal apiece and, Lamouchi’s men will return to the capital on Saturday to take on another in-form side Fulham.

Forest fans were left with mixed feelings after the result, but I’d say that the majority of them were happy with what they saw, especially in the second half.
