Nottingham Forest midfielder come striker, Jack Lester, reflects on his time out of the first team picture.

The 31-year-old made only his second senior start since October as he returned to the position in which he made his name for Forest, playing behind the front two and infront of the midfield.

Lester, who put in a Vital man of the match performance against Bradford, said: ‘It has been pretty much a nightmare for me recently, without being too pessimistic.’

‘It got to the stage where I decided I had to get my head down and do something different to try and change the situation. I feel as though I have got myself fitter and sharper and that has paid off because I have got back in the team.’
