Leicester City midfielder Andy King’s name has been on the rumour mill for a week or so now and reports from Leicester today, say the Foxes have turned down an approach for the Welsh international from Nottingham Forest.

According to the Leicester Mercury, , the Reds’ have been ’emphatically told he was not for sale.’ The paper says the highly rated midfielder made 48 appearances for the Foxes last season and scored 4 goals.

Although the transfer window doesn’t officially open until July 1, Forest did make an enquiry about Carlton Cole. The 29 year old striker has just been released by West Ham and is a free agent, but the player has dismissed any interest in joining the Reds’.

Meanwhile, Dexter Blackstock is being linked with a move away from the City Ground, despite recently agreeing a new four and a half year deal. Various sources are suggesting Huddersfield are lining up a bid for the Forest striker.
