“Lamouchi football is anti-football”- Some Forest fans in heated debate over recent bad form
Is this all part of the plan? Or is there something far more serious involved that we need to be aware of?
That was the question that noted Forest journalist Paul Taylor wanted to find out in his latest article for The Athletic.
Forest haven’t been on the best run on form in recent weeks, with Sabri Lamouchi’s men now without a win in five games, going into the final game of the season needing just a point to wrap up a playoff spot, when really it should have been done a long time ago.
In the article, Taylor examined a number of factors including personnel changes, late goals and a change of system. I’d never do it justice by just transcribing it, so I implore you to read the article for yourself.

He then put the question out to supporters on Twitter to get their view on the situation, and it generated a rather interesting conversation.
The team have become a caricature of their previously effective selves: Uber-defensive setup, hit on break, nick (ugly) wins & occasionally drop points at the death. This has become uber-defensive setup, play ugly, can’t pass the ball, don’t create chances. Cave in late in games.

Cant really blame the defence as they are always under attack for 97 minutes,the gaffer also seems to enjoy playing 3 holding midfielders. Grabban has no service and no support. This is boring to watch and will lead to another season in the championship

Because we have a manager who has no intention of telling his team to attack, even when we clearly are the better team. Yesterday's performance was entirely because of the way we were setup and it was a complete embarrassment. Lamouchi football is anti football.

I recon there is a fundamental lack of self belief in the squad. This leads to panic setting in as games grind on and ultimately mistakes.
