Forest put on a battling display in the 0-0 draw at Bramall Lane yesterday, to earn what could turn out to be a priceless point in our fight for survival.

The Reds’ went down to ten men, after Kelvin Wilson was given a straight red for headbutting Greg Halford. Forest assistant manager Ned Kelly had no complaints about the sending off and was full of praise for the lads.

Kelly told the official site. ‘From where we were standing it was a red, you just can’t put your head there. It is a fantastic result, I am pleased for the boys, they thoroughly deserve the point. It is a difficult place to come to but we watched how they play against Barnsley and we worked at it this week, so we knew what we were coming into. We chopped and changed at the back and put in more height and power and it worked well for us.’

Because of results elsewhere we slip back into the relegation zone, but the result will give the club and fans alike alot of heart going into the remaining three games.
