Nottingham Forest are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Nottingham Forest in the two nil victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend at the Molineux was enough to earn them a place as manager of the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Karanka was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Karanka guided his Nottingham Forest to an excellent 2-0 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers, ending the 13-match unbeaten run of the Championship leaders. It was the Spaniard`s first success as Forest boss, and the display saw him also pick up the EFL Result of the Day accolade.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Karanka for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.
