Whilst the rest of his Nottingham Forest team mates were either on their jollies or just taking it easy, Reds striker Junior Agogo was turning out for the Black Stars of Ghana in a friendly game against the Socceroos.

The friendly was arranged ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers that get under way next month with a game against Libya. So it looks like being a short summer for the ‘Prince of Nottinghamshire.’

Ghana lost the game 1-0 thanks to a second half goal from the Rams’ Mile Sterjkowvski, who was also sent off just before the end of the game.

Agogo did get the ball in the net for the Black Stars, but it was disallowed for off side. It’s unknown if his agent was at the game, but if he was you can be sure he was doing his best to sell him off to the highest bidder.
