It’s Not A Holiday.

A golf resort in the picturesque surroundings of Lake Garda, in the North West of the country is where the reds will be based for the next five days. But manager Colin Calderwood said ‘This may be a golf complex, but we are here to work’ Since arriving yesterday, the players have already completed three training sessions, including a pre breakfast run this morning.

Calderwood told the official website that ‘The facilities would enable them to train three, four and even five times a day. Much of it will be conditioning work, but we will be getting down to work with the balls as well.’

CC also went on to say that the club had gone to great expense to put on this trip, but felt it important the players were together 24 hours a day for the next five days, but felt it would be beneficial.
