This could be a bit of a rash decision given that it was only one game.
But it looks to have been enough to get a number of fans thinking about making the move. Having been injured since September, Michael Dawson has found his path back into the Nottingham Forest first team halted by the good form of Tobias Figueiredo, who has been deputising for the skipper.
Now though, it looks as if some fans are questioning whether or not Dawson should be brought back into the fold, in an attempt to reignite the partnership that was doing so well for them earlier in the campaign.
@CityGround_HQ asked the question on Twitter about the captain, and it looks as if the fanbase is relatively split on the matter. I suppose the question is, do you blame the result down to what Figueiredo did or didn’t do on that particular day, and if not, does he really deserve to be dropped?
Yes, if fully fit, harsh on Figs but Dawson & Worrall are our 1st choice CB pairing.

Figs as done good. Dawson is our captain tho I would bring him back in. Not because of the cardiff defeat tho

Yes. It’s an area we are well stocked with Figs and Chema as quality back ups.

Nothing wrong with our defending at the weekend.

Not a must there goal came from poor defending on the edge of the box from midfield. More worried about the wayward shots at the other end.

Yeah Dawson arguably our best player before he got injured but not a fan of replacing players when they’ve worked hard & not done anything wrong. Think Worrall & Figs have done well

Were Forest right to extend Dawson's contract?
Yes
No
Luckily I’m not in Sabri Lamouchi’s shoes so I don’t have to make these kinds of calls.
