Michael Dawson and Joe Worrall came away with praise from some supporters after Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 with Charlton Athletic on Wednesday. The defensive duo lined up at centre-back and helped stem the tide over 90 minutes, conceding just one goal from an onslaught of chances at The Valley.

As per WhoScored, Dawson played a full 90 minutes against Charlton, making 55 touches, winning three aerial duels, completing 80.5% of his 41 passes, drawing one foul and playing seven long balls with 29% accuracy. The 35-year-old made two tackles, three interceptions, five clearances and blocked two shots for his troubles.

As for Worrall, the 22-year-old also played a full 90 minutes. He made 54 touches, won three aerial duels, completed 93.5% of his 46 passes, had a 100% accuracy ratio from his long balls, made two interceptions and four clearances. Forest are currently 13th in the Championship with five points from four games.

The Reds are unbeaten in their last three league games and have conceded just two goals. Sabri Lamouchi has kept Dawson and Worrall together at the back this season and is being rewarded in recent weeks. Forest next travel to face Fulham on August 24.
