Jack Colback impressed in Nottingham Forest’s 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion, putting in a dominant performance in midfield. The 29-year-old missed the Reds’ last two league games through suspension, but he returned against the Baggies and showed supporters what they’ve been missing.
Over the 90 minutes, no Forest player created more chances than Colback (2), no starting player was as accurate with their passes (87.1%), only Yohan Benalouane (34) made more passes (31) as an outfield play and only Jack Robinson (8) & Ben Osborn (5) made more tackles (4).

Really need to sign Colback on a permanent deal. He’s way above the Championship in terms of ability #nffc #nufc

Since re-joining on loan from Newcastle United, Colback has been a key player for Forest. The Englishman has made 27 Championship appearances this season, scoring and creating three goals. He’s been a regular at the heart of the midfield and has helped Forest move within touching distance of the playoffs.
The Reds are currently ninth in the Championship with 46 points from 32 games, coming off the back of two wins and a draw from their last four. Next up for the Midlands outfit is Preston North End on February 16.
