The future’s bright, the future’s Red and White.
I’m pretty sure that’s how the saying goes, but I’m not 100% sure.
Anyway, there has been some movement when it comes to the future of Nottingham Forest, as Alex Mighten made his league debut for the club against QPR on Saturday. Having made his competitive debut earlier in the season against Arsenal in the League Cup, then getting further experience against Chelsea in the F.A Cup back in January, this was just another step in the right direction for the 18-year-old, even if he didn’t have much of an opportunity to make an impact.
Whilst it perhaps would have been better to see a recognised striker come off the bench to try and grab us a goal in a tight game such as Tyler Walker, or perhaps Nuno Da Costa (who hasn’t been seen a lot since his move), it’s nice to see that Lamouchi isn’t scared to throw players in to tough situations like this every now and again.
Who should Lamouchi have brought on in the dying stages?
Mighten
Walker

You’ll come across easier opponents than Angel Rangel mate. A bit of a baptism of fire that one- you can hold your head up high though.

So when he posted a message on his Twitter page afterwards, there were plenty of fans who were more than willing to jump on the bandwagon and shower him with praise.
