I`m feeling pretty content about both our present and future at the moment when you look at the players available to us.
Focusing on the former first of all, we`ve got one of the best managers in the league now and some of the most experienced and solid players, too, alongside our good attacking options we already had. The balance is much better on the field and we`re now capable of going on long runs in this division which should put us in good stead when it comes to a play-off challenge next season.
Meanwhile, the future is also looking bright with our younger players coming through and excelling whilst we`ve also shown we can look after other clubs` youth players with Kieran Dowell having a decent season. Indeed, he and Joe Worrall have been called up for the England U21`s which has led to this rather nice fact from Daniel Storey on Twitter:
